Early life :Mohd Ossama was born in 1984 in Hardoi district to Shri Shahid Faizan Ahmad, Railway Contractor and Smt. Sumbul Shahid. He is eldest amongst his siblings. His early days were spent in Faizabad. He was schooled in Lucknow, where he grew up. He attended St. Dominic Savio College in Lucknow. He was a very active student voice during his graduation days at Integral University, Lucknow. Here he won many awards at various University level events such as National Debate on Indo- US Nuclear Deal. He was also a very efficient student organiser. He went on to do MBA and Phd and took teaching as a profession.

Teaching Career : Mohd Ossama had an early association with management education. He has taught at various education institutions at Lucknow. He has written many books and research papers. He participated in more than 50 academic seminars/ conferences. He has received numerous awards for his writings and teaching. He is interested in General Management as an area of interest in business education.

Political Career : Mohd Ossama has been an active member of Indian National Congress from 2009. He has worked with key UP Congress departments like R&D Unit, Legal and Human Rights Dept. He has been working on labour rights since long. He is an active member of many labour unions. He has also worked for UP Kisan Sabha in the past.

As a Left wing Politician, Mohd Ossama spent years from 2018 to 2021 with UP Kisan Sabha, He organised various events, spoke on various forums on key issues, attended many CITU, DYFI programs. He saw Kisan movement against black farm laws very closely. Mohd Ossama wrote and spoke on various evils of Privatisation and the success of Public Sector in India. He has attended many state/ national level conventions on worker issues.

As a congressman, He has also been the office bearer of Unorganised Workers and Employees Congress UP. He has campaigned for the Congress Party in numerous elections. Mohd Ossama has faith in Nehruvian economic thought. He has organised various programs for the party over the years. He believes in Socialism, Secularism and Inclusive approach in Governance. His aim in politics and public life is to work for a better India, which is powerful, peaceful and successful. Democracy, Rule of law, equality and tolerance are our values to make India great.
